Cate, I can't believe this is your debut book! From the first sentence until the last, you kept my attention & had me sitting on the edge of my seat. Once I started reading, I couldn't put this book down. It's now 3:57 am & I just finished. You'really an amazing author & I can't wait to read more of your books. Thank you so much for sharing this book with us.

Thank you so very much, Marion. I'm sorry for the lost sleep, but since I was an avid reader long before I was a writer, I know the feeling well. I don't think there's a higher compliment than to keep someone up all night. Thank you.

Hi cate I have just read your book, it was an interesting book don't get me wrong I enjoyed it but maybe not so much religion? I don't mean to be offensive in any way but I don't like when people nock on my door preaching their religion so I certainly don't expect to pay to read about it, each to their own on religion but Im not interested in reading a book with verses from the bible, it was a good story but maybe not so much religious reference in the future?

Dear Ms Nolan
I enjoyed reading Christmas in Hiding very much. I can't believe it is your first Love Inspired book.
I am sorry Aimee didn't pay more attention to the "Inspirational" and "Faith" caveats on the book jacket, which is why I choose these books. But I digress, I am confused about a quote in your book, "I can do all things in God who loves me." Is this a misquote of Philippians 4:13?
"I can do all things through CHRIST which STRENGTHENETH me"?
It doesn't seem to connote the same thing exactly.
Thank you for your book and I hope to read many more Love Inspired books from you in the future.

Thanks so much for your kind words about my book.

I had to go back to the story to look for the exact mention because it's been two years since I wrote that. I can see why you would think Callie is misquoting Philippians 4:13. I didn't mean it as a misquote. She wasn't deliberately attempting to quote, but more just trying to draw on her faith in God to get her through the tough times ahead.
I'm sorry if the similarity in wording was jarring. Maybe it would have been better to use a direct quote.

Hi Cate,
I have just read "Texas Witness Threat." Such a good story! I enjoyed it SO much......and I only read books with Christian characters who quote scriptures. I feel pretty sure there are more of us who want this than those who get offended!!!
So, what's next?....please hurry:~))
